According to global times news agency Europe,Future educational leaders of the Pedagogical University” competition was closed and the winners were awarded.The global times Europe media was informed about this by the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ADPU). Rector of the university, Professor Jafar Jafarov, emphasized that the purpose of the competition organized for undergraduate and graduate students of ADPU and its branches is to identify talented students and support their professional development and form a future personnel bank. The rector said:We believe that at the end of the long and intense process that lasted for 4 months, our students and graduates who won the competition, selected from among 900 participants, will take their rightful place in the future in our university, as well as in the education sphere of our country, and to the large-scale educational reforms carried out, the country’s education will greatly contribute to the comprehensive development of the system.It was reported that the competition was inspired by the positive dynamics in the field of management and education development in our country and in the world, inspired by initiatives to further stimulate and systematize this process.The implementation of such an experience for the first time among the Azerbaijani higher education institutions at the Pedagogical University gives rise to a separate sense of pride and responsibility. ADPU is interested in continuing the competition in the next years and sharing this experience with other higher education institutions. Then, the department head of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, Samir Hamidov, and the vice-chairman of the Board of the Education Development Fund, Mrs. Dashdemirova, the winner of the III "Rise” competition, noted that such initiatives are a unique model in the field of education development and the involvement of young people in education management. Later, experts, finalists, special prize winners and winners of the competition were awarded.You can do it too!” 10 winners of the competition held under the motto "1000 AZN” each, as well as academic publications and gifts from BP, the sponsors of the competition, a 1-year foreign language package from "Prestige-S” Training Center and 1000 for information technologies from "IT Brains Academy” received an education package worth AZN. Most importantly, the winners were offered a 1-year professional development program with mentors to be appointed by the Organizing Committee and the opportunity to be added to the staff bank. Also, 10 other finalists who showed high skills were awarded with gifts as special prize winners of the competition and they also got a chance to develop their professional skills by participating in a 1-year mentorship program. The finalists of the competition will also be added to the personnel bank and receive a corresponding certificate.
