According to global times news agency Europe,Academician Isa Habibbayli, President of ANAS, met with Marek Kokhanowski, a Polish literary scholar and professor of Bialystok University.The global times Europe media was informed about this by ANAS . Speaking in detail about Azerbaijan-Poland scientific and literary relations, Academician Isa Habibbeyli said that extensive contacts have been established between literary scholars of both countries in recent years. Noting that remarkable scientific researches are conducted in Azerbaijan on Polish literature, the head of the academy drew attention to the importance of mutual research in this field. Emphasizing the importance of further expanding the cooperation between the scientific institutions of the two countries, Academician Isa Habibbeyli said that there are solid foundations in the field of participation in joint research projects, translation of scientific and literary works and book publication, exchange of articles. The existence of prospective opportunities for research and promotion of Azerbaijani literature in Poland and Polish literature in our country was specially noted.
Polish literary critic and scientist Professor Marek Kokhanowski expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the Academy for being welcomed at the ANAS at a high level, and pointed out that the university he represents is interested in further developing mutual scientific-literary relations.He said that a number of events and joint projects will be implemented in Poland with the participation of Azerbaijani scientists. During the meeting, the prospects of future cooperation between ANAS and Bialystok University were discussed, proposals were voiced, and mutual agreement was reached on the discussed issues.
