Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz will never forget the sacrifices of the martyrs of the APS tragedy. The children and women of APS and other martyrs sacrificed their lives in front of the brutal terrorists, but they bravely fought against these brutal beasts. May Allah Almighty elevate the ranks of these martyrs and make Pakistan a cradle of peace. The fall of Dhaka is a tragic tragedy in the history of Pakistan, which has caused irreparable political, geographical and national losses to Pakistan. This tragedy was the result of the political incompetence of the then rulers, deviation from the democratic process and neglect of the public mandate, but the rulers who came later also did not learn a lesson from this tragedy. The lack of timely and impartial accountability of the elements responsible for the fall of Dhaka is also a great tragedy, the effects of which can be felt on national politics to this day. He expressed these views while paying tribute to the martyrs on the 11th anniversary of the APS tragedy. On the completion of 54 years of the fall of Dhaka, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Uzma Sadiq Gondal, while talking to a delegation, said that it is necessary that we learn lessons from the mistakes of the past, accept the truth and do not allow such situations to recur. Strong democracy, transparent governance and national unity are the only guarantee of Pakistan’s secure future. If the aspirations of the people had been respected at that time and the doors of negotiations had not been closed, this dark chapter of history would not have been written. The fall of Dhaka teaches us that the source of power is the people and the consequences of suppressing their right to vote are always disastrous. National unity is possible only through justice, equality and constitutional supremacy. Not through the use of coercion and force. This tragedy also reminds us that ending the feeling of deprivation among the provinces and ensuring fair distribution of resources is the first responsibility of the state. Uzma Sadiq Gondal said that it is imperative to inform the younger generation about the history of that day so that they can understand the sacrifices and mistakes of the past and play their role in building a strong and united Pakistan.
