"We are working to ensure the success of the summit, whether the US likes it or not.”The G20 summit will open under South Africa’s chairmanship on November 22 in Johannesburg. In April, US President Donald Trump announced that he does not intend to participate in the G20 summit to be held in South Africa.South Africa assumed the G20 chairmanship on December 1, 2024.
