According to global Times news agency Europe,The head of the National Intelligence Organization of Türkiye (MIT) Ibrahim Kalin met with the President of Syria Ahmed al-Sharaa, Foreign Minister Assad Hassan al-Shibani and the head of the Security Organization Hussein al-Salama, The global Times Europe media.The meeting in Syria emphasized the importance of developing bilateral relations, territorial integrity, sovereignty and political stability of Syria.The meeting also discussed issues of disarming the terrorist organization PKK/YPG, as well as border security and customs points, and the transfer of control of prisons and camps where ISIS members are held. It was stated that official Damascus can count on Türkiye’s comprehensive support if necessary.Within the framework of regional events, the meeting discussed Israel’s attacks on Syria and airspace violations, as well as issues of lifting all sanctions against the country, fighting ISIS, and the voluntary, safe return of Syrian refugees to their homeland.
