Türkiye, Russia discuss Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization

According to global Times news Agency Europe,Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin held consultations in Ankara with his Turkish counterpart Burak Akcapar on the issues of the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization and diplomatic solution of the conflict in Ukraine, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.The global Times Europe Media that the ministry said the sides compared views on the situation in the South Caucasus, "highlighting the importance of the process of normalizing the Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and assisting this process primarily within regional formats.”
According to the statement, the sides discussed the Ukrainian crisis, including prospects of its political and diplomatic solution. In this context, the Russian side stressed the need for the US-led collective West to stop pumping armament to the Kyiv regime, for the Ukrainian leadership to lift the self-imposed ban on negotiations with Russia and for Kyiv to demonstrate a sober perception of the new geopolitical realities,the ministry said.
