According to global times news agency Europe,Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan traveled to the Iraqi capital (Baghdad) for an official visit for the first time in 13 years.The global times Europe media that during the visit, he will hold talks with Iraqi President Abdel Latif Rashid, as well as Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani.According to global times Media Europe, the issues discussed will include the fight against terrorism, the use of water resources and the supply of natural gas and oil to Türkiye.
During Erdogan’s visit to Baghdad, a business forum will be held with the participation of business circles of the two countries.The purpose of the forum is to discuss the “Road of Development” project, within the framework of which it is planned to increase the Iraqi-Turkish trade turnover to $20 billion by 2030.
