Mardan:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,Following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Mardan and Mardan Police, SSP Headquarters Mardan, Mr. Zia Hassan, visited BISE Mardan and held a meeting with Chairman BISE Mardan, Prof. Jehan Zeb Khan. At the occasion Secretary BISE, Mardan Prof Hazrat Ali was also present.During the meeting, the SSP Headquarters appreciated the landmark initiatives taken by the Chairman BISE Mardan in collaboration with Mardan Police, particularly the decision to provide free education by waiving all examination fees for the children of police martyrs belonging to the jurisdiction of BISE Mardan.The meeting also reviewed the decisions taken during the recent meeting with DPO Mardan, Mr. Masood Ahmad Bangash, regarding the "Green Mardan Plantation Drive” launched under the leadership of Chairman BISE Mardan, Prof. Jehan Zeb Khan. SSP Headquarters informed the meeting that more than 200 police personnel would actively participate in the plantation campaign. Tree plantation activities will be carried out at the BISE Mardan Sports Complex as well as at all police stations (Thanajat) across District Mardan, reflecting the shared commitment of both institutions towards environmental protection and a greener future.Later, SSP Headquarters visited the BISE Mardan Sports Complex, where he inspected the Indoor Gymnasium, Male and Female Fitness Gyms, and other sports facilities. He highly appreciated the state-of-the-art infrastructure and modern equipment, describing the complex as a valuable asset and an excellent recreational and fitness opportunity for the citizens of District Mardan.The SSP also visited the ongoing solarization project at the BISE Mardan Sports Complex. He was briefed that the project would ensure an uninterrupted electricity supply for the entire facility while promoting clean and renewable energy. He commended the visionary leadership of Chairman Prof. Jehan Zeb Khan for introducing sustainable development initiatives that benefit both students and the wider community.On the occasion, SSP Headquarters expressed his gratitude to the Chairman BISE Mardan for acknowledging the sacrifices and services of Mardan Police and for extending unprecedented educational support to the families of police martyrs.At the conclusion of the visit, Chairman BISE Mardan, Prof. Jehan Zeb Khan, presented a souvenir to SSP Headquarters Mardan, Mr. Zia Hassan, as a token of appreciation for the exemplary services and continued cooperation of Mardan Police with the Board, particularly in ensuring peaceful and secure conduct of examinations.
