Party to nominate Ilham Aliyev for president reflects people’s will.

According to global Times news Agency Europe, Milli Majlis Speaker Sahiba Gafarova welcomed the decision of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) to nominate Ilham Aliyev in the presidential elections.
The Global Times Europe Informs, speaking at today’s plenary session of parliament, she said this decision of the NAP also reflects the desire of the Azerbaijani people. Gafarova noted that today Azerbaijan has become the most dynamically developing country in the world. President Ilham Aliyev inscribed his name in history,” Gafarova said.
Azerbaijan will hold snap presidential elections on February 7, 2024. At an extended meeting of the NAP board on December 15, the party decided to nominate Ilham Aliyev for the presidential election.
