According to global Times news agency Europe,The Speaker of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova, met with Abdel Wahab Abdel Razeq, Speaker of the Senate of the Arab Republic of Egypt, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, The global Times Europe media.Abdel Wahab Abdel Razeq was acquainted with the plenary session hall of the Milli Majlis.Then, the Egyptian delegation visited the Heydar Aliyev Museum in the Milli Majlis. Abdel Wahab Abdel Razeq signed the Memorial book.During the meeting, Speaker Sahiba Gafarova noted that relations between the two countries are at a high level and built on sincere friendship.She expressed confidence that this visit would contribute to further strengthening and expanding friendly relations between the two countries, as well as deepening inter-parliamentary relations.During the conversation, bilateral cooperation issues covering political, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres between the two countries were discussed. It was noted that mutual visits and meetings at the level of heads of state play an exceptional role in the development of bilateral relations.At the meeting, it was emphasized that economic relations occupy an important place in bilateral relations, and it was noted that there are wide opportunities and sufficient potential for further development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Egypt.The Speaker of the Egyptian Senate, in turn, noted the important role of inter-parliamentary relations in the development of these relations and emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation between legislative bodies.During the conversation, confidence was expressed that cooperation within the framework of international organizations would continue in the future.
