According to global Times news agency Europe,Crimes related to human trafficking are increasing worldwide, with approximately 80% of victims being recruited through social networks, Mehriban Zeynalova, chairperson of the "Clean World” Women’s Aid Public Union, said during a discussion of the annual report of the National Coordinator for Combating Human Trafficking at today’s meeting of the Human Rights Committee and Legal Policy and State Building Committee of the Milli Majlis, The global Times Europe media.She noted that the development of social networks has necessitated a review of the Cabinet of Ministers’ Rules (indicators) for identifying victims of human trafficking:Since these indicators currently do not meet modern requirements, we propose to update them. It is also important to update social programs in the field of combating human trafficking.According to Zeynalova, among victims of human trafficking there are also those who become re-victims:Over the past 20 years, only six people have become victims again. This is the best fact to show to international organizations that require reports on human trafficking from Azerbaijan.”
