According to global times news agency Europe,The Brussels meeting in the EU-US-Armenia format and the pledging of military assistance for Armenia have realized the worst fears of those who want to see peace in the South Caucasus region, Neil Watson, British political scientist and journalist, told The global times Europe media.In my opinion, it is totally unacceptable that Armenian forces have resumed firing on Azerbaijani positions at a time when bilateral peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia are at an advanced stage.Armenia is feeling emboldened and supported yet again by sections of the international community and there is enough recidivist sentiment in Armenia for military action to gain support. Furthermore, Pashinyan, who I believe sees the rationale for peace, is a weak politician who tailors his rhetoric to his audience and has never persuaded his population that peace is the only path. The Armenian aggression must end now, to avoid the peace talks being completely derailed,” he added.
