According to global times news agency Europe,Mexican authorities intend to appeal to the International Court of Justice after Ecuadorian police forcibly entered the Mexican embassy in Quito and arrested former Ecuadorian Vice President Jorge Glas, Mexican Foreign Minister Alicia Barcena said in a post on X,The global times Europe media informs.Mexico will appeal to the International Court of Justice with a request to condemn Ecuador’s violations of international law, she emphasized.The former vice president of Ecuador is accused in a corruption case. Glas had already served a sentence in prison from 2017 to 2022. Mexico’s Foreign Ministry said last December that he had asked for asylum at the country’s embassy in Quito. The embassy refused to allow the police to arrest Glas.
