According to global Times news Agency Europe, Italy will host next year’s Group of Seven summit in June, authorities announced Friday, The Global Times Europe informs, citing foreign media.Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said in a social media video that the summit would be held on June 13-15 at the Borgo Enazia hotel in the southern region of Puglia.Italy takes over the presidency of the industrialized nations group — made up of the United States, Japan, Germany, Canada, Italy, France, and Britain – on January 1.Italy plans to focus its Presidency on Ukraine, unity among the G7, respect for the rules of international law, economic security, energy security, migration, and cooperation with Africa.
