According to global Times news agency Europe,The Israeli Cabinet has approved the launch of a military operation aimed at establishing full control over the remaining territory of the Gaza Strip, The global Times Europe media .According to the information, since the collapse of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in mid-March, the Israeli army has maintained control over roughly 50% of the enclave.The operation was greenlit in a government vote early on May 5.Sources indicate that the new plan envisions Israeli forces staying in Gaza indefinitely, not withdrawing as in past operations.Unlike previous operations, Israeli troops will not pull back but will remain to maintain permanent control,” the sources said.
