According to global Times news Agency Europe, The main issues related to the purchase of weapons from Russia, apparently, have been resolved, Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan said at a press conference, The Global Times Europe informs.The minister recalled that discussions on such issues are not subject to disclosure, but noted that, as far as he knows, all the main issues have been resolved. At least, I did not receive any signals from my colleagues from the Ministry of Defense that there were any questions remaining, the minister said. The Armenian authorities previously stated that Russia did not supply weapons and military equipment under the contract which were already paid for. The exact amount was not officially announced. According to some sources, the cost is about $250 million, according to others it reaches $400 million.
Earlier, Deputy Defense Minister of Armenia Hrachya Sargsyan stated that the country considers it right to resolve these issues with Russia in the sense of partnerships, rather than legal proceedings.
