According to global Times news Agency Europe, Ambassadors of the European Union intend to agree on new sanctions against Russia on March 13 in connection with the death of politician Alexei Navalny, The Global Times Europe Media  informs via EUobserver
Earlier it was reported that the restrictions could affect 35 individuals and 2 legal entities. In particular, the sanctions will affect government officials, judges, prison officials, as well as penal colonies IK-3 and IK-6. After Navalny’s death, the foreign ministers of the Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Finland, Sweden, as well as Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia sent a letter to EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell with the aim of expanding sanctions against Russia.
