According to global Times news Agency Europe, A resident of Chisinau, who a year ago telephoned about a grenade in the house where Moldovan President Maia Sandu lives, was sentenced to one year and eight months in prison to be served in a semi-closed penitentiary, The Global Times Europe informs.The Chisinau City Court made a decision in the absence of the accused because he avoided appearing in court. In this regard, he was put on the wanted list. According to the case file, on July 23, 2022, a man called 112 and reported that he had planted a grenade in the entrance of the house where Maia Sandu lived. This is not the first violation of the law by the accused. He was previously sentenced to one year in prison suspended for three years after he reported in 2020 that he had planted a grenade in the Chisinau cathedral.
