According to global times news agency Europe,Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau met with the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, at Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt, The global times Europe media  informs.The Prime Minister and the President reaffirmed their unwavering support for Ukraine, more than two years after the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. They discussed ways to continue supporting Ukraine and expressed their support for President Zelenskyy and his diplomatic efforts toward peace, particularly through Ukraine’s Peace Formula. The leaders noted their shared commitment to strengthening transatlantic security and discussed ongoing preparations for the upcoming NATO Leaders’ Summit in Washington, D.C., in July. They also discussed Canada’s potential contributions to Poland’s energy security, including through co-operation and trade in the nuclear and hydrogen sectors.The two leaders also discussed opportunities and security challenges in the Indo-Pacific region, and they received a related briefing from the Royal Canadian Navy.The Prime Minister and the President highlighted the strong people-to-people ties between their two countries and the ongoing contributions of Polish Canadians to Canada’s national fabric. Prime Minister Trudeau and President Duda agreed to remain in regular contact on these and other shared priorities.
