Islamabad:(Special Correspondent) According to Global Times Media Europe, former federal minister and provincial vice president of the People’s Party Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sajid Hussain Turi has demanded that the officials of the Parachinar Wildlife Department perform their duties within the law and the prescribed jurisdiction and refrain from unnecessarily harassing the local people and hunters. Sajid Hussain Turi said that the mountains and natural resources of Kurram district are the property of local tribes and the people, therefore, wildlife officials should behave appropriately with the people. He raised the question that if wildlife laws are being implemented in areas related to the people, what facilities are being provided to the people in return. He said that it is not appropriate to harass hunters unnecessarily during the scheduled hunting season. Wildlife officials must implement the law, but harassing people to show their position or gain personal interests should be stopped. Sajid Hussain Turi, while sending a message to the Parachinar Wildlife Department, said that officials should work within their system and prescribed limits, the public should not be harassed unnecessarily everywhere and the local people should be treated with respect and dignity. He warned that unnecessary strict behavior can create unrest among the public, so the matter should be resolved wisely and responsibly.
