Italy:(International Desk) According to a foreign news agency, the Special Assistant to the Minister of Overseas Pakistanis for Italy, Ikramuddin, said that the Kashmiri people should be given the right to self-determination in accordance with the UN resolutions. He said that Pakistan will always provide full political, diplomatic and moral support to the just struggle of the Kashmiri people. He said that the day of August 5, 2019, is a dark chapter in the history of Kashmir, which not only distorted the political identity and legal status of the Kashmiris, but also dealt a blow to their collective self-determination, cultural identity, economic and social structure, and basic human rights. India’s Hindu fascist Modi government unilaterally, unconstitutionally, illegally and immorally revoked the special status of Jammu and Kashmir on that day by revoking Articles 370 and 35A of the Indian Constitution, under which Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir enjoyed limited and symbolic autonomy, and which was included in the Indian Constitution as a constitutional agreement. This was the moment when all the promises of Delhi to the Kashmiris turned out to be lies.
