Lahore:(Special Representative)According to Report,Renowned businessman Chaudhry Zafar Tahir, son of Tahir Mustafa, said that I want to inform the public, the journalistic community and the relevant law enforcement agencies that I claim that I am facing continuous threatening behavior from Rashid Mumtaz (Media Council Pakistan) and his employee Malik Tahir. He said that a few days ago, a news channel aired news against us which I consider false, baseless and damaging to my reputation. After this, I am facing further pressure and threats. He said that I want to clarify that I am a peaceful and law-abiding citizen and am approaching the relevant institutions for all my legal rights, honor and protection. If any kind of personal, financial or moral damage is caused to me or my family, then a complete and impartial investigation should be conducted into the matter and action should be taken against the responsible persons as per the law. Talking to the media, he said that he has full faith in justice, and I request that instead of believing in any unverified news or propaganda, facts and the law should be put forward. He added that may Allah Almighty prevail over the truth. Amen.
