New York:(International News Desk)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), H.E. Mr. Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, met with Ms. Dima Al-Yahya, Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly session in New York.During the meeting, they reviewed prospects for joint cooperation and ways to strengthen partnerships in digital transformation and the digital economy, as well as support for regional and international efforts to upgrade technological infrastructure and expand digital inclusion.The two sides emphasized the importance of implementing the cooperation agreement signed between the two organizations, coordinating efforts, and exchanging expertise among relevant institutions in Member States. They noted that this would help accelerate innovation, empower youth and women in the technology sector, and achieve sustainable development goals through technology and modern digital solutions.
