ISLAMABAD:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,President International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, chaired the 52nd meeting of the university’s Finance and Planning Committee (F&PC), attended by senior university officials and representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the Higher Education Commission (HEC).The meeting was attended by Vice President (Administration & Finance) Prof. Dr. Abdul Rashid, Vice President (Academics) Prof. Dr. Nadeem Ahmed Sheikh, Director General (Finance), HEC, Mr. Ghulam Nabi, the HEC nominee, Director (QAD) Prof. Dr. Rehmat Ellahi, and Director (Finance) Mr. Ayaz Ali. Deputy Secretary, Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, Mr. Muhammad Asad, participated virtually through a video link.The Committee reviewed the implementation status of previous decisions, the university’s financial performance, budgetary requirements, and development priorities. Members also deliberated on financial management, resource allocation, and future planning, with particular attention to institutional sustainability, academic development, and infrastructure improvement.The meeting highlighted the importance of sound financial planning and effective resource utilization in supporting IIUI’s institutional priorities and advancing its commitment to academic excellence.
