Peshawar:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,The twenty-second day of the Pre-Service Training Programme at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy was devoted to deepening the trainees’ understanding of evidentiary principles and strengthening their judgment writing skills in civil matters.The day commenced with recitation from the Holy Qur’an, followed by “Daily Delve” and a feedback session conducted by the faculty.The first academic session on the Fundamentals of the Law of Evidence was conducted by Barrister Ikhtiar Khan, Chairman, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Service Tribunal. The session focused on examination of witnesses, impeachment of witnesses, burden of proof, and legal presumptions, providing practical insight into appreciation and application of evidence during trial.This was followed by a theoretical session on Judgment Writing Skills – Civil by Mr. Ahmed Iftikhar, Dean Faculty, KPJA, who discussed the structure, reasoning, and essential components of a well-reasoned civil judgment.In the concluding session, Judgment Writing Skills – Civil (Practical) was conducted by the faculty, where the trainee Civil Judges-cum-Judicial Magistrates / Illaqa Qazis engaged in drafting exercises aimed at applying theoretical concepts into practical judgment writing.
