regional situation and peace process.

According to Global times News Agancy Europe,Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a phone conversation with Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan told The global times Europe media.During the phone call, the ministers discussed the current state and prospects of Azerbaijan–Lithuania bilateral relations. Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing political dialogue and expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest.They also underlined the need to strengthen partnership within multilateral platforms.Kęstutis Budrys talked about Lithuania’s preparations for its EU Council Presidency in the first half of 2027. In this context, the ministers exchanged views on efforts in various directions during Lithuania’s upcoming presidency, particularly regarding Azerbaijan–EU relations.The conversation also covered regional security issues, the current situation in the South Caucasus, and ongoing work to ensure lasting peace and stability in the region, along with other international matters of mutual concern.
