According to global Times news Agency Europe,Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili discussed issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as the regional situation in the post-conflict period.The Foreign Ministry told The Global Times Europe  that the parties noted the importance of high-level contacts and the mechanism of political consultations, expressing confidence that the further development of friendly and good-neighborly relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia will contribute to regional cooperation.The sides noted that the projection by some countries of their domestic political agenda onto the region has a negative impact on the peace process.
Georgian Foreign Minister Ilya Darchiashvili is on a visit to Azerbaijan to participate in the 9th trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Türkiye.
