MARDAN:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,The Meeting of the Academic Council of Bacha Khan Medical College (BKMC), Mardan, was held today, 21 August 2026, at 10:00 AM in the Conference Room, Administration Block, to review and finalize preparations for the forthcoming visit of the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) schuled for August 27 and 28 next.The meeting was chaired by Prof. Jawad Ahmed, CEO/Dean, MTI-Bacha Khan Medical College, Mardan. The meeting was attended by members of the Academic Council, PM&DC focal persons, members of the Tours Committee, Heads of Departments (HoDs), the Hospital Director, Medical Director, and relevant managers.During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the arrangements and preparations required for the upcoming PM&DC visit. The participants reviewed the progress of various academic, administrative, clinical, and institutional requirements and emphasized timely completion of all pending arrangements.Prof. Jawad Ahmed stressed the importance of coordination among all concerned departments and directed the relevant officials to ensure that all necessary preparations are completed in accordance with PM&DC requirements.The meeting concluded with a commitment from all concerned to work collaboratively and ensure comprehensive preparedness for the PM&DC visit. The leadership expressed confidence that the coordinated efforts of the faculty, administration, hospital management, and support teams would contribute to a successful visit.
