Bar Association visited the Barcelona Consulate.
It should be noted that the delegation was led by Muhammad Rauf Atta, President of the Supreme Court Bar Association.
Barcelona(International News Desk)According to global times News Agency Europe,A delegation from the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan (SCBAP) visited the Consulate General of Pakistan in Barcelona on 25th August 2025. The delegation was led by Mr. Muhammad Rauf Atta, ASC, President of the Supreme Court Bar Association and comprising of Mr. Muhammad Nadeem Qureshi, Vice President SCBAP, Mr. Salman Mansoor, Secretary SCBAP, Mr. Tanweer Akhtar, Finance Secretary SCBAP and Senior Advocates of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.The delegation was warmly received by Consul General Mr. Murad Ali Wazir, along with Mr. Waheed ur Rehman, Counsellor (Immigration), and Mr. Salik Mahmood, Community Welfare Attaché.During the visit, Consul General Murad Ali Wazir welcomed the delegation and provided a comprehensive briefing on the Consulate’s operations and its wide range of services for the Pakistani community residing in Spain. The briefing covered consular services such as documentation, passport and NICOP facilitation, and community support services including welfare, legal assistance, and repatriation support.The Consul General also briefed the delegation about the judicial systems of Spain and Catalunya, highlighting the legal frameworks, procedural differences, and potential opportunities for bilateral cooperation in legal and judicial matters.The visit served as an opportunity for constructive dialogue, fostering mutual understanding between the legal fraternity of Pakistan and the Consulate. Members of the delegation appreciated the efforts of the Consulate in providing efficient services to the Pakistani diaspora and expressed interest in exploring collaborative initiatives to support overseas Pakistanis. The briefing was followed up by the question and answer session.
The Consulate General reiterated its commitment to strengthening ties with professional bodies and community leaders to better serve the growing Pakistani community in Spain.
