Qaiser Nawab Pays Tribute to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto on Her 17th Martyrdom Anniversary
Islamabad, December 27, 2024 — On the 17th anniversary of the martyrdom of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, Qaiser Nawab, a young leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), paid heartfelt tribute to the legacy and vision of Pakistan’s first female Prime Minister.
“Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was more than a political leader; she was a symbol of resilience, hope, and democracy. Her sacrifice for the restoration of democracy, the supremacy of Parliament, and the establishment of a people’s government has made her immortal in the hearts of millions,” Nawab stated.
Recalling her enduring legacy, Qaiser Nawab added:
“شہید محترمہ بینظیر بھٹو کو بچھڑے ہوئے آج ہم سے 17 برس بیت گئے مگر جمہوریت کی بحالی، پارلیمان کی بالادستی اور عوامی حکومت کے قیام کی جنگ میں وہ شہید ہوکر بھی امر ہو گئیں۔”
Qaiser Nawab emphasized that Benazir Bhutto’s vision continues to inspire generations of young leaders, particularly in their struggle for social justice, women’s empowerment, and inclusive governance. As a committed PPP activist, Nawab vowed to uphold her ideals and work towards a democratic and prosperous Pakistan.
On this solemn occasion, he called upon party workers and supporters to renew their commitment to the values for which Shaheed Benazir Bhutto laid down her life.
