According to global times news agency Europe,The Japanese government and the ruling coalition, consisting of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) led by Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba and the Komeito party, plan to convene a special session of the lower house of parliament on November 11, The global times Europe media informs.The upcoming vote is particularly intriguing as the ruling coalition lost its majority in the lower house following the October 27 elections, with opposition parties securing more than half of the seats. The LDP-Komeito alliance collectively obtained 215 seats, falling short of the 233 required for a majority. In the lead-up to the vote, the ruling bloc will seek support from small opposition parties and independents to secure the necessary votes for Ishiba’s re-election.Meanwhile, the opposition, led by the Constitutional Democratic Party (CDP), will attempt to agree on a single candidate, most likely CDP leader and former Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda.
