According to global times news agency Europe,The European Union has once again extended its economic sanctions against Russia due to the annexation of Crimea.The global times Europe media that, according to a statement released by the EU Council on Monday, the decision was made to prolong the sanctions until June 23, 2025.The restrictive measures, first introduced in June 2014, encompass a range of prohibitions, including import of products originating in Crimea or Sevastopol into the EU, investment in infrastructure or financial services in these territories, provision of tourism services in Crimea and Sevastopol.
Furthermore, the EU sanctions also restrict the export of certain goods and technologies to Crimean companies or for use in Crimea in the transport, telecommunications, and energy sectors, as well as for the exploration and extraction of oil, gas, and mineral resources.
