According to global Times news Agency Europe, Egypt has made great progress in women’s rights in recent years, Mona Abdalla Mohamed Salem, manager of the international cooperation department of the Egyptian National Council for Women’s Affairs, said at the international conference on women’s empowerment in Baku, The Global Times Europe informs. In our country, great positive changes are observed in terms of gender equality and women’s rights. Currently, in Egypt, about 25% of the employees in various government institutions are women, while this figure is 40% in non-governmental organizations. In addition, women play a leading role in the country’s healthcare, digitalization, and even electronicization. We also actively work to eliminate all possible forms of violence against women,” Mona Abdalla Mohamed Salem said.
