According to global times News Agency Europe,Azerbaijan, Qatar, Syria, and Türkiye have issued a joint statement on the start of Azerbaijani gas supplies to Syria through Turkish territory, The Global times Europe media.In the joint statement distributed by the Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, this event is assessed as an important step in deepening relations between the four countries.They noted that this project, implemented in record time, is important for the restoration of Syria after the conflict:This upgraded pipeline, stretching between Kilis province in Türkiye and the city of Aleppo in Syria, with a capacity of 6 million cubic meters of gas per day, officially began functioning on August 2. The State of Qatar, through the Qatar Development Fund, once again confirms its commitment to the restoration and stabilization of the Syrian Arab Republic, providing support for electricity production as part of this initiative.With the start of natural gas supply to the power plant in Aleppo, electricity supply in Syria will significantly increase.
