Minister of Justice: Text of Armenia’s new Constitution will be ready in 10 months.

According to global Times news agency Europe,The text of the new Constitution of Armenia will be ready in 10 months, the Armenian Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan told The global Times Europe media .According to Srbuhi Galyan, the document is currently in the development stage, and various versions of the text are being discussed. However, a final decision has not yet been made.At the same time, the removal of the reference to the Declaration of Independence from the Constitution was not discussed, added Galyan, referring to the statement of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.At the end of March, Pashinyan stated that the Armenian authorities plan to hold a referendum on the adoption of a new Constitution in 2027. The Prime Minister added that his team has voiced an opinion about the feasibility of holding the referendum in parallel with the parliamentary elections in 2026.
