President Anjuman Tajran Arja Raja Iftikhar, former President Anjuman Tajran Raja Sagheer Ahmed, Secretary General Anjuman Tajran Arja Nasir Arbab, Senior Leader Muslim Conference Sardar Azhar Ijaz, Secretary Finance Imran Khurshid, Raja Sohail Afsar, Raja Omar Ghaffar, Mehtab Chughtai, Khawaja Amir, traders and a large number of civil society members were present and welcomed the guests on the appeal.
Save Yasin Malik, Awaken Kashmir Movement Campaign Launched Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik’s wife, Ms. Mashal Malik, has said that a grassroots campaign has been launched to save Yasin Malik from hanging and keep the Kashmir freedom movement alive. The route mobilization has been formally launched, which has been launched simultaneously in Pakistan, Azad Kashmir and the world for the first time. He said that there will be no break of a single day in this campaign and the youth, traders, neighborhoods and every class will be included in it so that the public voice can reach the world.
Speaking on the occasion of the death anniversary of Maqbool Butt Shaheed, Mashal Malik said that today is a historic day for Kashmiris, and the next phase of the “Journey of Martyrs” has started from this day. He said that in this regard, meetings will be held with the families of the martyrs, their sorrows will be shared and solidarity will be expressed with the families who migrated from occupied Kashmir and settled in the camps. He said that the blood of the martyrs is the real strength of the movement, and this spirit must be passed on to the coming generations. He expressed regret that for some time now, the intensity of the spirit of the movement in the base camp and Pakistan had been seemingly decreasing, although there was pain and feeling in the hearts. This campaign has been launched to address this deficiency so that a new spirit, new intensity and new quest is created in the movement. Mashal Malik further said that during the “Safar-e-Shuhada” the graves of the martyrs will be visited, Fateha will be recited and collective prayers will be offered. He appealed to the people, especially the youth and the Kashmiri diaspora, to participate fully in this mission so that the cause of the release of Kashmiri prisoners, the protection of Yasin Malik’s life and the freedom of Kashmir can be taken forward. He expressed his determination that this struggle will continue till the last breath and will be passed on to the coming generations.
