According to global times news agency Europe,A bill on improving criminal liability for desertion has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine, The global times Europe media informs.It is proposed to establish that a person who, during martial law, for the first time committed a criminal offense, such as unauthorized abandonment of a military unit or desertion, may be exempt from criminal liability.To do this, it is necessary that the serviceman, before the end of the pre-trial investigation, voluntarily declare to the investigator or prosecutor his intention to return to the military unit or place of service to continue his service.
