Latvian parliament speaker arrives in

According to global Times news Agency Europe,Speaker of the Latvia Saeima Daiga Mieriņa arrived in Ukraine on a visit, The Global Times Europe informs.Mieriņa was welcomed by Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Olena Kondratiuk, who noted that this visit would further strengthen the friendly alliance between the two countries.It is reported that today the governments of the two countries entered into an agreement on technical and financial cooperation, within the framework of which 5 million euros are expected to be provided from the state budget of Latvia for 2024 for restoration work in Ukraine. In particular, 2 million euros will be allocated for the purchase of equipment and materials for projects to restore the Chernihiv region, and 3 million euros will be allocated for the reconstruction of social infrastructure in this area.
