According to global Times news Agency Europe, The UN Human Rights Committee has expressed serious concern over the use of combat drones by the United States beyond its territory to fight against terrorists, The Global Times Europe Informs. Members of the committee investigating the latest US report on the implementation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights in Geneva—18 independent experts—recommended Washington take measures to prevent civilian casualties.The Committee is seriously concerned about the continued killings carried out using armed drones (UAVs) during extraterritorial counter-terrorism operations and the lack of full and sustained transparency regarding the legal and political criteria for carrying out strikes,” the experts said.
