Charsadda:(Special Correspondent) According to Global Times Media Europe, Sardheri Police, in a timely and successful operation, safely recovered a 15/16-year-old girl who was kidnapped at gunpoint from Hangu district, while three accused, including a woman, were arrested during the operation. In this regard, District Police Officer Charsadda Rifatullah Khan (PSP) said while holding an important press conference at the City Police Station on Sunday that on September 10, 2026, the Sardheri Police received information about the kidnapping of a minor girl at gunpoint, against which a case was registered and an investigation was immediately started. Taking immediate notice of the incident, DPO Charsadda Five special teams were formed for the safe recovery of the kidnapped person, which he was supervising himself. The teams included SP Investigation Charsadda Alamzeb Khan, DSP Sardheri Bilal Haleem, SHO Sardheri Yasin Khan, CIO Sardheri and other police officers. The police teams were dispatched to different areas. One team operated in Mardan district, the second in Rawalpindi and Gujar Khan, the third in Peshawar, while the fourth team operated in Tal, Doaba and Hangu areas. The fifth team was responsible for technical matters, which obtained data and CDRs of more than 100 mobile numbers and analyzed them carefully. According to the DPO Charsadda, initial investigation revealed that the incident occurred in the backdrop of a relationship dispute between the two families. According to the police, the accused had earlier asked for a relationship with the girl, but after she refused, the same girl was allegedly forcibly abducted from her house at gunpoint. Charsadda Police tracked down the abductee through modern technology, continuous pursuit and a coordinated strategy and finally recovered her safely from Hangu district. During the operation, three accused, including a woman, were arrested, including two men, Shaukat son of Ayaz and Riaz son of Khanzada. Further investigation is underway with the arrested accused. On this occasion, DPO Charsadda Rifatullah Khan (PSP) said that Charsadda Police is taking all possible steps to protect the lives, honor and dignity of the people, especially women. Those involved in any crime will be dealt with strictly according to the law and no compromise will be made on the safety of citizens.
