PESHAWAR:(Special Representative) According to Global Times Media Europe, Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed met with Inspector General of Prisons Rehan Gul Khattak today at the Central Police Office Peshawar. He stayed with the IGP for some time and discussed in detail with him the overall law and order situation in the province, professional matters, security of prisons, corrective measures for prisoners and making mutual cooperation between the police and the prison administration more effective. IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Zulfiqar Hameed stressed the need for further strengthening the security of prisons, dealing with unusual situations, security arrangements during the movement of prisoners and close coordination and coordination between the police and the prison administration regarding sensitive prisoners so that any untoward incident can be dealt with in a timely manner. The IG Prisons appreciated the steps taken by the police regarding the security of prisons and law enforcement and assured that the prison administration is also utilizing all available resources regarding the reformation, discipline and security of prisoners.
