Syria inks agreements with Türkiye, Saudi Arabia for transportation of pilgrims.

According to global Times news agency Europe,Syria has signed air transport agreements with Türkiye and Saudi Arabia for the transportation of Syrian pilgrims during the Hajj pilgrimage, The global Times Europe media.The documents were signed between the Hajj and Umrah Department of Syria’s Ministry of Awqaf and Turkish Airlines and Centromo Airlines.The agreements were concluded to facilitate the transportation of pilgrims from Damascus International Airport to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, and on the return journey from Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Airport in Medina to the Syrian capital.According to the agreements, each pilgrim will be allowed to carry two bags with a total weight of up to 40 kilograms (20 kilograms each), in addition, 5-liter bottles of Zamzam water will be provided to each pilgrim by the organizing group.
