According to global Times news agency Europe,Azerbaijan’s chargé d’affaires in Syria, Elnur Shahhuseynov, met with Syrian Minister of Awqaf (Religious Endowments) Mohammed Abu al-Khair Shukri.The global Times Europe media that the two sides discussed expanding cooperation in the field of Islamic affairs and religious endowments, with the aim of further strengthening the ties between the two friendly nations.The agency also noted that during the meeting, Shahhuseynov conveyed the Azerbaijani leadership’s readiness for continued coordination and cooperation between the two countries on matters of mutual interest.
