Charsadda:(Special Correspondent) According to Global Times Media Europe, today, the volunteer youth of Thalassemia Free Pakistan met with Deputy Commissioner Charsadda Fazal Rahim Marwat. During the meeting, the volunteers gave a detailed briefing to the Deputy Commissioner Charsadda about their various welfare and social activities, especially blood donation activities. The volunteers said that awareness and blood donation activities are being organized at various levels to ensure blood supply for thalassemia patients and other needy people and to promote the tendency of donating blood among the public. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Charsadda Fazal Rahim Marwat appreciated the welfare services and spirit of service of the volunteer youth and said that blood donation for thalassemia patients and other needy people is a great humanitarian service. Youth are a valuable asset of the society and their role in such positive and welfare initiatives is commendable. He said that The district administration encourages all social organizations and volunteers working for public welfare and values ​​the steps taken in the spirit of humanitarian service. The Deputy Commissioner further said that a single blood donation can be a means of saving the life of a needy person, therefore, healthy people should donate blood regularly and play their role in helping other needy people, including thalassemia patients.
