Uzbekistan joins Turkic Culture and
Heritage Foundation.

According to global Times news agency Europe,A decision was made on Uzbekistan’s joining the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation within the framework of the OTS informal summit held in Hungary, Secretary General of the Turkic States Organization (OTS) Kubanychbek Omuraliyev said at a joint press conference with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.According to Omuraliyev, this is an important step towards strengthening cultural ties and preserving, promoting and developing the rich and diverse heritage of the Eurasian world:At the same time, the OTS Council of Foreign Ministers also approved the decision to appoint the Executive Director of the Budapest Office. This office has played an important role in strengthening cooperation, coordination and relations with our European partners. The heads of state then approved the statement on Afghanistan. This reflects the unified position and coordinated approach of the Turkic States Organization regarding the changing situation in Afghanistan. We reaffirm our commitment to contribute to regional peace, stability and humanitarian support.”
