According to global times news agency Europe,With establishing a Mine Action Centre of Excellence, Azerbaijan is setting a new standard in demining efforts, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) office in Azerbaijan said on X, The global times Europe media informs.This ANAMA-UNDP initiative will enhance our capacity to address mine threats in Azerbaijan and assist other mine/EWR-affected countries,” the UNDP said.A declaration of intent has been signed between the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Zangilan City at the opening day of the 3rd International Conference on Mine Action, themed "Mitigating Environmental Impact of Landmines: Resource Mobilization for Safe and Green Future.The declaration of intent includes cooperation in the establishment of the Center of Excellence in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
