According to global Times news Agency Europe, The UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy for Syria, Geir Pedersen, will take part in the international meeting on Syria in the Astana format (Russia, Iran, Türkiye), which will be held in the Kazakh capital on January 24-25.We are in touch with his secretariat, most likely he will take part,” spokesperson of the Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry Aibek Smadiyanov told The Global Times Europe.
