Ukraine, NATO outline new priorities for JATEC at Kyiv meeting.

According to global Times news agency Europe,Ukraine and NATO identified new priorities for the Joint Analysis, Training and Education Center (JATEC) during a meeting in Kyiv. The focus is on strengthening defense, building resilience, and implementing innovations to counter threats on the battlefield, said the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, The global Times Europe media .On April 26, a meeting of the Senior Advisory Board of the NATO-Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training and Education Center was held in Kyiv.The meeting was attended by Tom Goffus, Chairman of the Senior Supervisory Board and NATO Assistant Secretary General for Operations, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Sergiy Boev, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Brigadier General Oleh Apostol, JATEC Commander Brigadier General Wojciech Ozga, and representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the NATO Representation to Ukraine, and the Joint NATO-Ukraine Centre (JATEC).During the meeting, the parties discussed strategic issues related to the activities of JATEC and the implementation of previous organizational tasks.”Undoubtedly, the ultimate goal of any project is peace and strong security for Ukraine. Both Ukraine and NATO are interested in the development of JATEC. The results of the Joint Center’s work are useful for both sides,” emphasized Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Sergiy Boev.
