Peshawar:(Special Correspondent) Former Nazim and District Member Peshawar and Central Senior Leader Pakistan Muslim League-Q Safdar Khan Baghi on the occasion of Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day, August 14, warmly congratulated Global Times Media Europe Chief Executive Ikramuddin on the certificate of appreciation issued by Pakistani Ambassador to Djibouti Aqsa Nawaz in recognition of his excellent and long-standing journalistic services. Safdar Khan Baghi said that Chief Ikramuddin has been playing a valuable role in promoting world peace, positive journalism and international harmony through the platform of Global Times Media Europe for the past several decades. He has presented a positive and dignified soft image of Pakistan by giving effective coverage to personalities from different fields. He said that journalism, if done in a positive, responsible and constructive manner, can become an effective means of reducing the distance between nations and spreading the message of peace and love.
