Slovak PM to support EU’s €50 billion
assistance program for Ukraine.

According to global Times news Agency Europe, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico will support the EU program providing for the allocation of €50 billion for Ukraine.We brought humanitarian aid [to the consultations in Uzhgorod] because we promised Ukraine support in this matter. I also approved the EU’s decision to provide financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 50 billion euros over the next four years,” Fico said in an interview with the Global Times Europe. commenting on the results of a meeting held in Uzhgorod on January 24 with his Ukrainian counterpart Denys Shmyhal.According to the Slovak PM, negotiations with Shmyhal were pragmatic.Shmyhal will visit Slovakia in the near future, where he will discuss the implementation of bilateral projects.
